ION RELEASES CABLES FOR DIRECT COMPUTER RECORDING
MICLINK and GUITARLINK Connect Mono Audio Sources to Computers
Cumberland, R.I. (Jan. 8, 2009) – ION (www.ionaudio.com), a leader in consumer audio and entertainment technology, announces MICLINK and GUITARLINK, two new instrument-to-PC connection cables. Both products will be on display at the Consumer Electronics Show at the Las Vegas Convention Center, Booth 12544, Jan. 8-11, 2009.
MICLINK is the easiest way to plug a dynamic microphone into a computer and record vocals or other sound, while GUITARLINK is the easiest way to plug a guitar, bass or other line-level audio source into a computer and start recording.
Each USB microphone cable turns analog input signal into studio-quality digital audio, thanks to its built-in conversion system. Musicians can connect MICLINK to a Mac or PC, and because they are certified plug-and-play, users have no need for special drivers. Recording enthusiasts can simply load their recording software of choice, connect their guitar or microphone, and be ready to record.
Both cables eliminate the need for breakout boxes, interfaces, and preamplifiers. Each cable is 16.5 feet long.
MICLINK is available now for $49.99 and GUITARLINK is available now for $39.99. Both can be purchased at ionaudio.com or your favorite consumer electronics retailer.
