ION AUDIO INTRODUCES iCUE COMPUTER DJ SYSTEM
Software and Custom Hardware Controller Make Customized Music
Cumberland, R.I. – (Jan. 6, 2008) – ION Audio, a leader in consumer audio and entertainment gear, announces the immediate availability of iCUE, a starter kit for anyone wanting to entertain using the music tracks on their computer.
The ION iCUE system consists of two pieces: CUE LE software and a specially-designed hardware DJ box that allows aspiring DJs to mix and perform using music files on their computer. The iCUE hardware connects to a computer using a simple plug-and-play USB cable.
The controller hardware provides the perfect tactile control needed to manipulate music tracks. It includes two jog wheels for quickly moving between points in songs, and for scratching just like vinyl, using music tracks on the user’s computer. Bass, Mid and Treble controls, a DJ-style crossfader and Pre-fader listen (PFL) buttons are included for quick and easy music preview.
iCUE features professional CUE LE software, enabling users to scratch, control pitch and automatically beat-match digital music, while built-in sampling and looping helps people with little or no DJ experience mix like a pro. iCUE can even detect beats in a song for smooth transitions with a waveform display that ensures the beat is always locked in the groove. CUE LE lets users preview music in their headphones before it hits the audience, and can record DJ performances to create mixes for listening on an iPod or other personal audio player.
